Wonder Foods Partially Hydrolysed Guar Gum (PHGG, Sunfiber®) is a natural water-soluble dietary fibre derived from guar gum. Guar gum is extracted from guar beans from the Cyamopsis tetragonolobus plant. PHGG is obtained by the controlled partial enzymatic hydrolysis of guar gum.

Guar gum is a galactomannan, with a mannose backbone and galactose side branches. PHGG is a prebiotic fibre that bacteria in the colon ferment into short chain fatty acids (SCFAs).

Directions
