What’s so good about it?

Sunflower kernels are an excellent source of essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals including calcium, iron, manganese, zinc, magnesium, selenium and copper. The delicious, nutty, crunchy seeds have health benefiting poly-phenol compounds such as chlorogenic acid, quinic acid and caffeic acid. These are natural antioxidants and can help to reduce blood sugar levels.

How is it made?

When the sunflower is ready for harvest, the seeds are removed from the flower, washed, soaked and dried. Then the kernels are removed from the seeds.    

How do I use it?

Add to trail mixes or as a nutritious snack. Sprinkle on salads, soups, muesli or cereal.  Add to your baking – biscuits, slices and muffins.  Add to breads, crusts, crumbs or lightly toast with spices for a killer topper for just about anything.

This product is Certified Organic, super fresh and has no additives or preservatives to extend its life. Best to store under 18 degrees. For maximum freshness and tastiness, use within 4 weeks of opening.
