Absolute Live Black Rice has delicious sweet nutty taste, soft texture and beautiful deep purple colour. It is extremely high in antioxidants called anthocyanins, and rich in iron. It is a striking presence on any plate, and pairs beautifully with all cuisines - use it steamed plain, in a pilaf, stir-fry, salad or pudding.
Wholegrain Black Rice
Add 1 cup rice and 2-1/4 cups water to pot. Bring to a boil. Cover, turn heat to low, and simmer for 30-40 minutes.
If using Rice Cooker, soaking at least 2 hours will help to bring the cooking time down.
Keep in a cool dry place. Avoid direct sunlight. Once opened store in an airtight container.
