• Ashwagandha is traditionally used in Ayurveda as a nerve tonic and memory enhancer.
• Cognitive benefits of rhodiola appear to be linked to its ability to inhibit the breakdown of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, helping to maintain neurotransmitter levels in the cerebral cortex, brain stem, and hypothalamus. It is believed the changes in monoamine levels are due to inhibition of the activity of enzymes responsible for monoamine degradation and facilitation of neurotransmitter transport within the brain.2
• The ergogenic effect of Siberian ginseng leads to improving heart rate recovery after physical exercise, as well as aiding lactic acid elimination and improving aerobic metabolism through increased oxygen uptake and use of fatty acids for energy.15
• Schisandra appears to inhibit the neurotoxic activity of glutamate.16 Ashwagandha acts on the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis to regulate serum cortisol concentrations.17

Direction for use:

Adults: 1 capsule 2 times per day or as directed by a health care practitioner.

The best times to take are morning and noon to mid-afternoon or later in the day if more energy is required in the evening.

Warning:

Do not use if you are pregnant or likely to become pregnant. There is insufficient evidence to support the safe use of Siberian ginseng when pregnant or breastfeeding.
