Efamol Efamarine 1100mg
Efamarine is a combination of Efamol Pure Evening Primrose Oil (rich in Gamma-Linolenic Acid – GLA) and Marine Fish Oil (naturally high in Eicosapentaenoic Acid – EPA). It provides both these omega-3 and omega-6 nutrients in an easy to swallow capsule. Efamarine’s unique formula is perfect for maintaining supple joints and a healthy heart.
Efamarine has been specially formulated to provide the important omega-3 (EPA) and omega-6 (GLA) fatty acids in an optimum ratio. This optimum ratio is important as it helps to minimise inflammation in the body. Prostaglandins are chemical messengers that play a role in the body's action against inflammation. As levels of prostaglandin 1 (PGE1) drop, levels of the pro-inflammatory prostaglandin 2 (PGE2) rise. Efamarine's high levels of GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid) mean the body may create more PGE1, reducing inflammation. Simultaneously, the EPA in Efamarine minimises production of the pro-inflammatory agent PGE2. The result is a significant reduction in inflammation that can help maintain a healthy heart and reduce joint pain.
Efamarine is a convenient nutritional supplement that can be a useful addition to a healthy balanced diet, helping to safeguard the intake of these important nutrients. Efamarine provides nutrients to help maintain supple joints and a strong heart. Efamarine may be used to reduce joint inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis.
